As outlined in Chapter 79 of the Missouri Revised Statutes the City Clerk shall keep a journal of the proceedings of the board of aldermen, maintain all pertinent records and papers belonging to the city, shall be the general accountant, and administer official oaths.

Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to;

Licenses/Permits
Community Room Permit � use of the community room is $25 for personal use and free to non-profit organizations
�
Dog Impoundment � fees are $20 for the first calendar day and then $9 for each day thereafter
�
Dog License � issued throughout the year and are renewable in April; costs are $5 for male or spayed females and $8 for non-spayed females
�
Liquor License � cost varies with type of license requested; contact for information
�
Merchant License � issued annually (July 1 � June 30), cost $25 and are prorated throughout the year
�
Peddler�s License � issued for a period of one year from date of issue, cost is $25 with a $10 application fee for background checks
�
Yard/Garage Sale Permits � limited to two sales per address per year; cost is $1 per sale, maximum of two days per sale
�
Release of Information
Official requests are processed through the City Clerk; if copies are requested then costs include research and reprographic time, plus 10 cents per page. |
